Debbye Omlie

Debbye Omlie started learning about healthy living principles in her early thirties. She started a worksite wellness program for a Honeywell division and was heralded by the American Heart Association as a model in New Mexico. With a passion for health, she has worked in communications, marketing, public relations, and events for numerous healthcare organizations promoting healthy living principles for over 15 years.

But when her family started dying from preventable lifestyle-related diseases, Omlie knew she had to find a better way to live. This book is the result of her research into scientific evidence-based information. It is a healthy aging beginner's manual with information about where one can start and how to create a customized plan for oneself.

Omlie earned a Master of Mass Communication degree from Arizona State University, Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication.
